CFTC Chair Nominee Prepares for Hearings on Crypto Regulation

Brian Quintenz, nominated to head the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), has engaged in preliminary talks with senators on Capitol Hill in preparation for his upcoming nomination hearing. He met with Senator Chuck Grassley, a Republican senator from Iowa who sits on the Senate Agriculture Committee, to discuss critical CFTC matters, particularly the regulation of the cryptocurrency spot market.
