Metaplanet Bolsters Bitcoin Portfolio with ¥2 Billion Bond Issuance

Japanese Bitcoin treasury firm Metaplanet has secured a significant boost to its Bitcoin holdings by issuing ¥2 billion ($13.33 million) in zero-interest bonds. The proceeds from this bond issuance will fund further Bitcoin acquisitions, aiming for 10,000 BTC by the end of 2025 and 21,000 BTC by 2026. The company’s stock has surged since adopting a focused approach on Bitcoin.
