CFTC Chair Nomination Postponed Amidst Regulatory Uncertainty

Michael Selig, currently serving as chief counsel for the crypto task force at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, will appear before senators next week for a hearing examining his nomination to lead the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. His nomination follows the removal of Brian Quintenz, who was previously nominated by President Trump.
