UK FCA Seeks to Reopen Crypto ETNs for Retail Investors

The United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has proposed lifting its ban on offering crypto exchange-traded notes (ETNs) to individual investors. This proposal, announced by the FCA in a June 6th statement shared with Cointelegraph, would allow individuals to access these high-risk investments provided they trade through an FCA-approved exchange.
