Metaplanet has secured a groundbreaking financing plan worth $5.4 billion to acquire 210,000 Bitcoin by 2027, making it the biggest Bitcoin acquisition in the Japanese stock market. This ambitious endeavor, aiming for a 1% share of the total Bitcoin supply, follows Metaplanet’s previous successful equity financing plan. The company has already achieved significant returns, acquiring nearly 35 billion yen and raising more than $650 million through a targeted offering to investors.
