Fed Rate Decisions: CME Predicts No Changes in June and July

Market predictions suggest the Federal Reserve is likely to keep interest rates steady in both June and July, according to data from the CME Group’s FedWatch tool. As of now, a 97.5% probability predicts no change this month in June, with only a 2.5% chance of a 25 basis point cut. For July, the chances favor maintaining current rates at 67.3%, while a potential 25 basis point cut stands at 32%. The possibility of a 50 basis point rate reduction remains low, as it is only predicted at 0.8%.
