Ethereum Hacks: Over $5 Million Stolen – Hacker Wallets Still Active

Despite its potential to revolutionize finance, Ethereum remains vulnerable to hackers. Over $5 million worth of Ether has been stolen through various attacks since 2016. These thefts have targeted decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, bridges, exchanges, and even smart contracts. Remarkably, hundreds of thousands of ETH remain trapped in hacker wallets today, detectable by on-chain monitoring.
