China Imposes 34% Tariff Increase on All U.S. Goods, Escalating Trade War with the U.S.

China’s State Council has announced a major escalation in its trade conflict with the United States by approving tariffs of up to 34% on all goods imported from America, set to be enforced starting April 10th, 2025. The move follows the U.S.’s imposition of similar tariffs on Chinese exports and reflects China’s condemnation of what they see as unfair trade practices.
