A new survey reveals that interest in cryptocurrency remains strong in Hong Kong, with 25% of adults planning to invest. This represents a 6% increase from a September 2023 poll conducted by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). The study polled 5,863 adults over three weeks. Despite this positive trend, uncertainty surrounding cryptocurrency ownership remains high, with at least 40% of respondents expressing doubt about their future involvement in the market. This sentiment is further supported by a recent survey showing that Hong Kongers remain more confident when utilizing regulated exchanges, with a significant increase in participation for those platforms.
