The cryptocurrency market is currently experiencing a downturn, with many assets showing notable declines. Uniswap (UNI) has not been immune to this trend, reaching a 24-hour low of $7.50 before rebounding to its current price of $8.05. However, recent regulatory developments offer hope for the token’s long-term outlook. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has closed its investigation into Uniswap Labs, ending a period of uncertainty. This comes after the SEC issued a Wells notice in April 2024, alleging that Uniswap Labs operated as an unregistered broker, facilitated exchanges, and issued an unregistered security. However, the SEC has now decided not to pursue enforcement action.
