Midas Raises $80 Million for Expansion; Turkish Fintech Firm Eyes Unicorn Status

Turkey’s leading investment and crypto trading platform, Midas, has secured a massive $80 million in its Series B funding round. This makes it the largest funding ever received by a Turkish fintech company, with total investments surpassing $140 million. The funding was led by QED Investors, with new backers including the International Finance Corporation (IFC), HSG, QuantumLight, Spice Expeditions LP, and George Rzepecki. Existing investors like Spark Capital, Portage Ventures, Bek Ventures, and Nigel Morris also participated.
