Could Ethereum & Solana Power Europe’s Digital Euro?

Sources close to the European Central Bank (ECB) reveal the institution is seriously considering using open-source blockchain networks like Ethereum and Solana for its digital euro project, instead of a closed system. A decision hasn’t been finalized, but it suggests a significant change in how Europe plans to tackle its central bank digital currency (CBDC).
