SWIFT Tests XRP and HBAR for Faster Cross-Border Payments

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) is exploring the potential of blockchain technology to enhance its cross-border payment infrastructure. In collaboration with Ripple’s XRP and Hedera’s HBAR, SWIFT aims to leverage these cryptocurrencies’ compatibility with the ISO 20022 standard for faster transaction processing.
