OCC Lifts Consent Order Against Anchorage Digital

The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has removed a cease-and-desist consent order against crypto bank Anchorage Digital. This order, issued in 2022 for non-compliance with anti-money laundering regulations, was lifted after Anchorage Digital fulfilled the required compliance measures. This decision allows Anchorage to continue offering custodial services for BlackRock’s Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs.
