U.S. Regulator Lifts Consent Order Against Anchorage Digital Bank

The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has removed its 2022 consent order against Anchorage Digital, the first federally chartered cryptocurrency bank in the country. The OCC concluded that Anchorage’s compliance with anti-money laundering and know-your-customer requirements no longer poses a risk to the institution’s stability.
