Binance Backs Viction (VIC) Network Upgrade and Hard Fork: All You Need to Know

Binance, a major player in the cryptocurrency exchange arena, has announced support for the upcoming upgrade and hard fork of the Viction (VIC) network. Starting August 21, 2025 at 4:00 AM CEST, deposits and withdrawals on the VIC network will be suspended to facilitate the process. This technical update is expected to occur when block height reaches 97,705,094, roughly 5:00 AM Turkish Time. Binance has confirmed it will ensure a smooth transition for users with no manual actions required. Trading activities on the VIC network remain unaffected during this period. Users can continue trading as normal without interruption. However, deposits and withdrawals won’t reopen until the upgrade is complete and network stability is confirmed. Binance assures that this process will be completed automatically and users won’t need to wait for a separate announcement. This decision reflects Binance’s commitment to providing secure and efficient trading experiences for its user base.
