South Korea to Enact Stablecoin Regulations in October

South Korea is set to unveil a new law regarding stablecoins, with the Financial Services Commission (FSC) preparing for parliament’s potential vote as early as October. This move marks the second stage of the Virtual Asset User Protection Act and will provide clarity on how local stablecoin offerings are structured and managed, covering everything from issuance guidelines to collateral provisions.
