Dutch Firm Amdax Acquires 1% of Bitcoin’s Supply, Plans Euronext IPO

Amdax, a regulated virtual asset service provider in the Netherlands, has established AMBTC BV to acquire 1% of Bitcoin’s circulating supply, aiming for a total of 199,079 BTC. This venture is backed by Amdax and will go public on Euronext Amsterdam through an IPO in the coming months. The company intends to leverage proceeds from this IPO to purchase Bitcoin, ultimately building a significant treasury. AMBTC BV plans to eventually hold 1% of Bitcoin’s circulating supply, currently estimated at 19,907,906 BTC. This ambition would place it among the top global Bitcoin treasury holders and likely make it the largest in Europe by BTC reserves.
