Bitcoin’s Kimchi Premium Falls to 0.39% on August 18

On August 18th, Bitcoin traded at a price of 163.51 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, with a 0.27% increase from the previous day. However, this was accompanied by a notable price gap, resulting in a -630,000 KRW discount. This led to a Kimchi Premium of -0.39%. Meanwhile, Ethereum showed a negative Kimchi Premium of -0.50%. Other prominent altcoins are also trading below their global counterparts, displaying discounts ranging from -0.51% for Solana to -0.37% for Ripple and -0.37% for Dogecoin. The majority of these altcoins show a significant discount within the range of -0.1% to -0.5%.
