Crypto Influencer Jailed for Stealing Millions in Cloud Mining Scheme

Charles Parks III, known as CP30, has been sentenced to prison for running a large-scale cryptocurrency mining scheme that defrauded cloud computing companies of millions of dollars. Prosecutors say he used his influence as an influencer to deceive providers and gain unauthorized access to their resources, including electricity and computer power, to mine digital assets for profit. The operation was particularly lucrative, allegedly amassing more than $3.5 million in illicit earnings over a year-long period.
