Large cryptocurrency whales have been actively trading, displaying significant movement across prominent cryptocurrencies like Chainlink (LINK), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin (BTC). One notable instance involved a whale withdrawing a substantial amount of LINK from Binance. Their total holdings now stand at over $12.9 million after this withdrawal. Another whale’s activity involved transferring approximately $40.2 million worth of ETH from Kraken to a newly created wallet. Meanwhile, on the derivatives platform HyperLiquid, whales showed increased engagement. One trader opened leveraged short positions in ETH, BTC, and LEFT tokens at various levels of leverage, with a total value exceeding $18.75 million, while another trader purchased nearly 50,000 HYPE tokens at an average price of $48.14. In addition to the aforementioned activities, a wallet connected to World Liberty Finance made substantial acquisitions, spending over 18.6 million USDC on blue-chip crypto assets such as ETH and WBTC. This purchase involved purchasing 1,911 ETH at $4,500 each and $10 million worth of 84.5 wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) at a price of $118,343 per unit. The project has also retained 5 million USDC for potential future purchases.
