Coinbase’s Market Dominance Wanes Amidst Competition and High Trading Volumes

Despite experiencing a surge in trading activity, Coinbase is witnessing a gradual decline in its market share within the global cryptocurrency exchange sector. Having held a 7% share at the start of 2025, the company’s dominance has shrunk to just 5.8% by July. This drop follows failed attempts to capitalize on positive regulatory sentiment in the US.
