Bitcoin Volatility Contracts to Two-Year Low

CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr has observed a significant decrease in Bitcoin’s volatility, reaching its lowest point in two years. This reduction stems from the narrowing range of prices over the past 30 days, as indicated by both high and low price indicators. Notably, the rolling high/low price range has confined Bitcoin’s price within tight limits. Such compression typically signifies a balance between supply and demand, along with a decrease in realized volatility. This situation arises when liquidity is concentrated around local highs above $120,000 and lows below $113,000. Despite this recent stability, the likelihood of price range expansion is on the rise.
