SEC Will Act on Crypto, Despite Congressional Delays

Pro-crypto SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce has announced that the agency will not wait for Congress to act on specific legislation regarding cryptocurrency. Instead, she states that the SEC is actively working within its existing authority to provide guidance and clarify application of securities laws in the crypto sector.
