France Investigates Bitcoin Mining for Energy Management

France is taking a closer look at Bitcoin mining as a potential solution for managing its large-scale electricity system. A group of lawmakers has proposed a legislative amendment encouraging the government to evaluate whether Bitcoin mining could be incorporated into France’s power grid. The aim is to assess if utilizing digital currency minting can improve energy management and strengthen national energy security.
