Lubin Addresses Misinterpretations of SharpLink Gaming’s S-3 Filing

Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum, addressed concerns surrounding SharpLink Gaming’s S-3 filing after a potential misinterpretation arose. Lubin clarified that the section titled ‘shares owned after offering’ in the document is hypothetical and assumes all registered shares are sold. This approach is common practice in traditional finance following a Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) and does not reflect actual share sales, according to Lubin. Notably, neither Consensys nor he has sold any shares as of now.
