Ukraine Proposes Crypto Inclusion in National Reserves

In a move that could significantly impact the nation’s financial strategy, Ukrainian lawmakers have introduced a bill to potentially incorporate cryptocurrencies into the country’s state reserves. The bill (number 13356), submitted to Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada on June 10, proposes amendments to existing law governing the National Bank of Ukraine. These amendments would authorize the bank to allocate crypto assets such as Bitcoin (BTC) alongside traditional gold and foreign exchange reserves.
