The first day of U.S.-China trade talks concluded with a promise to continue discussions as both sides aim to address tensions over the export of technology and rare earth materials. The meeting at Lancaster House in London lasted more than six hours, with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent leading the American delegation while Deputy Prime Minister He Lifeng represented China.
