Nasdaq Expands Cryptocurrency Index: Four Altcoins Join the Lineup

The US stock exchange Nasdaq has taken a significant step in the world of cryptocurrency by expanding its cryptocurrency index. Adding four altcoins, namely XRP, Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and Stellar (XLM), the total number of assets on the index now stands at 9. This expansion comes after Nasdaq filed Form 8-K with the SEC to integrate these altcoins into the index. If the application for NCIUSS, a reference index, is approved by the SEC, XRP, SOL, XLM, and ADA will be added, excluding Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Chainlink (LINK), Litecoin (LTC) and Uniswap (UNI).
