Coinbase Launches XRP Futures Contracts on April 21st

Coinbase Institutional has requested authorization from the U.S. Commodity Future Trading Commission (CFTC) to launch XRP futures contracts, targeting a debut date of April 21, 2025. The company intends to offer these contracts as part of its derivatives offering, providing institutional and retail investors with a regulated way to gain exposure to XRP’s price fluctuations.
