UPSC Implements Aadhaar Verification & AI-powered Security Enhancements

To bolster the security of its competitive exams, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has implemented a two-pronged approach: Aadhaar verification and integration with AI. This new system comes in response to recent controversies such as the Puja Khedkar case and the NEET paper leak, which highlighted vulnerabilities in exam integrity. 28th May witnessed the launch of the revised UPSC online portal, requiring candidates to undergo four steps: account creation, universal registration, form filling, and document upload. Aadhaar authentication is now optional, allowing for verification via voluntary e-KYC or through Aadhaar’s pre-existing record.
