Changpeng Zhao (CZ), former CEO of Binance, is actively assisting Kyrgyzstan in developing its cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem. Following a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Kyrgyz National Investment Agency and CZ, the initiative aims to leverage CZ’s extensive experience in the crypto space to foster growth in Web3 capabilities within Kyrgyzstan. CZ has already provided guidance to several governments on cryptocurrency regulation and blockchain implementation. 2025 saw this collaboration come together with a focus on developing a new A7A5 stablecoin pegged to the Russian Ruble. This move aligns with the country’s strategic effort to expand its presence in the emerging markets.
