MoonPay Secures Licenses to Operate in New York Crypto Market

MoonPay USA LLC has obtained the essential licenses required to offer cryptocurrency services within the state of New York. The company secured both the BitLicense and Money Transmitter License from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) on June 4, 2025. This regulatory approval paves the way for MoonPay’s expansion into the state’s dynamic crypto market.
