Moscow Stock Exchange Launches Bitcoin Trust Futures for Qualified Investors

The Moscow Stock Exchange has debuted new Bitcoin Trust futures contracts, coded IBIT, exclusively for qualified investors. These contracts are priced in US dollars with settlements facilitated in Russian rubles, offering a maturity period ending in September 2025. This move follows the Russian Central Bank’s recent approval of cryptocurrency value-indexed derivatives accessible only to professionals.
