CZ Proposes Automated DEX Listings to Counter Front-Running in Crypto

Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, a prominent figure in the crypto world, is proposing a radical change to the way tokens are listed on centralized exchanges (CEXs). He argues that automated, DEX-style listing models could effectively eliminate front-running and level the playing field for all users. CZ cites the current practice of delayed token listings – typically spanning four hours between announcement and trading availability – as enabling insider advantages. This disparity allows quick-selling in DEXs before CEX listings, creating an unfair advantage for those who can access liquidity beforehand.
