Singapore Mandates Crypto Firms Halt Overseas Operations by June 30th

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has issued a firm deadline to local crypto firms, requiring them to halt all overseas digital token (DT) services by June 30, 2025, or face hefty fines and potential jail time. This directive follows industry feedback on the MAS’s proposed Digital Token Service Providers (DTSPs) framework, under the Financial Services and Markets Act (FSM Act) of 2022.
