US Bitcoin Spot ETFs Experience Record Inflows, Surpassing $44 Billion

Bitcoin has reached a new record high, exceeding the $112,000 mark, driven by strong institutional investment in US Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Recent data reveals unprecedented inflows of over $1.5 billion into these funds between May 21 and 22, 2025, signaling a significant surge in demand from financial institutions. This influx is further fueled by the ETFs’ growing prominence within the cryptocurrency market, with BlackRock’s ETF alone attracting more than $430 million on May 23, 2025. Collectively, these funds have gathered over $40 billion in net assets and surpassed $121 billion in total assets under management (AUM). Experts attribute this influx to growing confidence in regulated investment products like Bitcoin spot ETFs. This trend suggests a shift towards institutional adoption of cryptocurrency, as the ETFs act as a bridge between traditional finance and the burgeoning crypto market.
