DOJ Seizes $24 Million in Cryptocurrency from Qakbot Developer

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has initiated a major action against cybercrime, aiming to seize over $24 million in cryptocurrency linked to the notorious Qakbot malware. This seizure targets Rustam Rafailevich Gallyamov, a Russian national accused of being behind the creation and deployment of this sophisticated malware that is responsible for ransomware attacks globally.
