A new AI-powered system developed by cybersecurity firm Trugard and onchain trust protocol Webacy has claimed a success rate of 97% in detecting crypto wallet address poisoning attacks. The system leverages supervised machine learning, trained using live transaction data and onchain analytics. It operates to identify malicious attempts to mimic real addresses through small cryptocurrency transactions, often targeting users’ ease of access via partial address matching.
