South Korea & EU Collaborate on Cybersecurity Amidst Rising Threats

In a bid to combat escalating cyber threats, South Korea and the European Union (EU) convened the seventh Cyber Policy Council. This gathering focused on fostering cooperation in cybersecurity, specifically tackling rising threats such as cryptocurrency thefts linked to North Korean activities. Both sides emphasized the transnational nature of cybercrime, underscoring the urgent need for collaborative investigation efforts involving rapid information sharing. Additionally, support was pledged for enhancing the cybersecurity capacities of countries within the region.
