Ripple CEO Calls for US Crypto Legislation Support

Ripple’s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, recently visited Washington D.C., seeking support from U.S. lawmakers for responsible cryptocurrency regulations. He highlighted the need to focus on stablecoins and market structure, encouraging policymakers to view cryptocurrencies positively. However, a meeting between Garlinghouse and Senator Cynthia Lummis, chair of the U.S. Digital Assets Subcommittee, was postponed without rescheduling. Garlinghouse expressed hope that Lummis will reconsider and engage in further discussion about positioning the United States as a global leader in the cryptocurrency industry.
