JPMorgan Enables Bitcoin Purchases for Clients Amid CEO’s Skepticism

JPMorgan Chase, the world’s largest asset management firm with assets exceeding $4 trillion, has made a significant move in the cryptocurrency market by allowing clients to buy Bitcoin. This announcement came during JPMorgan’s 2025 Investor Day event and signifies a shift in its stance towards digital currencies. Notably, the bank will facilitate Bitcoin purchases but not offer custody services for them, meaning clients can buy Bitcoin but it will be managed independently from their existing accounts.
