Revolut Invests €1 Billion in France, Aims for Banking License

Financial services company Revolut is investing €1 billion in the French market over the next three years, with plans to acquire a banking license and establish an office in Paris. This expansion will create approximately 200 new jobs within France’s economy, on top of Revolut’s existing team of 300 employees, as announced at the ‘Choose France’ summit held at the Palace of Versailles. The company emphasized that its operations in Lithuania remain central to its European strategy. Revolut saw a surge in profits for 2024, doubling to $1.3 billion, fueled by user growth and an uptick in cryptocurrency trading activities.
