Bitcoin Long-Term Holders See Cost Basis Rise

A recent analysis by Glassnode, as reported by Foresight News, indicates that Bitcoin’s long-term holder cost basis has increased to $45,340. This rise is fueled by buyers who purchased Bitcoin in the $90,000 to $100,000 price range during December 2024. As these investors transitioned into long-term holding positions, their average purchase prices gradually climbed, contributing to the overall increase in cost basis for this group of holders.
