SEC Unveils Plans to Modernize Crypto Securities Rules

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is actively working on new regulations for crypto securities, Chair Paul Atkins announced at a recent roundtable discussion. The SEC’s initiative aims to develop rules specifically tailored to crypto assets classified as securities. This marks a departure from current regulations that are deemed inadequate for the rapidly evolving crypto landscape.
