Ripple’s $50 Million SEC Fine: No XRP Payment Involved

Ripple has reached a settlement with the SEC, avoiding an admitted XRP classification. The agreement resolves allegations without Ripple admitting to any wrongdoing regarding its token sales. Judge Analisa Torres emphasized that the penalty is based on civil law and regular sanctions, rather than involving the specific digital asset XRP.
