Despite the security worries, staking users remain unaffected and the protocol continues to operate smoothly. Lido’s oracle system utilizes a 9-of-5 multisignature mechanism, safeguarding against potential failures as only one oracle failure cannot compromise the entire system. The remaining nodes are functioning normally with no software or data anomalies detected, further confirming the security of the protocol. The eight other oracle nodes have not been breached and Chorus One has not experienced a broader attack.
