Recent data reveals a wave of phishing scams targeting Coinbase users, resulting in over $46 million in stolen funds within just two weeks. These attacks involve sophisticated tricks like address poisoning and wallet spoofing, where fraudsters create fake wallets that mimic legitimate ones to entice unsuspecting users into sending crypto. A notable example involved the theft of 400 Bitcoin, worth around $34.9 million, from a single Coinbase user’s account on March 28th.
