Expert Proposes XRP-Backed Bonds: A New Future for US Debt?

Vandell Aljarrah, co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist, has proposed a radical shift in U.S. financial structure by introducing XRP-backed bonds to the market. This concept aims to replace traditional Treasury securities with debt instruments backed by XRP.

Under this proposal, US investors would directly purchase XRP from the government, receiving a fixed yield (like 2% annually) in either XRP or USD upon maturity, similar to typical bond investments.

Aljarrah’s idea is based on the integration of blockchain technology into financial infrastructure. However, several significant hurdles remain before this concept can be realized. These include the inherent volatility of cryptocurrencies like XRP and the regulatory framework surrounding digital assets.
