A new Binance Research study examining the security practices of 30,000 Asian crypto investors reveals a notable shift towards increased awareness and proactive measures. The report highlights an intriguing paradox: as crypto adoption explodes, technical vulnerabilities are also multiplying. However, this rise in usage is driving a surge in cybersecurity education among investors, who are actively adopting robust protection strategies. This study suggests that the increasing sophistication of these investors has led to greater engagement with security protocols. 80.5% have enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) on their exchanges, and 73.3% manually verify recipient addresses before transactions, all contributing to a more secure environment.
